Chick Lit author Bethany Ramos is a full-time freelance writer through Elance.com, but her real passion can be found in writing chick lit, women’s fiction, and even a children’s book called Lions Can’t Eat Spaghetti. Bethany works at home full-time writing her fingers to the bone, and she also co-owns her own coffee website, The Coffee Bump, with her husband Mark.

Ramos’s Chick Lit fiction is inspired primarily by her sarcastic personality and love of a good laugh. And it doesn’t hurt to throw in a few quirky idiosyncrasies that make her characters totally unique—something she is quite familiar with. When she’s not spinning a new tale of Chick Lit drama at her computer, Ramos loves spending time with her husband and two yappy Chihuahuas, reading (surprise, surprise!), exercising, and watching trashy reality television.
