Elaine started her career in audio at the age of thirteen when she figured out how to repair her older brother’s beloved Elvis Presley 8-track tape. After high school she went to work for an audio production studio in San Diego, California. When she retired and moved to the Pacific Northwest, she happened to move next door to an editor for Black Opal. Elaine heard about BOB from her neighbor. She liked the concept of what BOB stood for and joined our part-time staff. She dabbled in editing for a while, but her first love is audio and when Black Opal started producing audio books, she applied for and was granted the audio editor/liaison’s job. Elaine spends her free time working in her garden or playing with her three young grandchildren.
